Objectives
- To evaluate the natural potentials of the Karavanke, to identify the development opportunities and to set out guidelines for sustainable development of the area and its natural environment.
- To open a dialogue about sustainable development of the Karavanke between expert public and local population.
- To raise awareness among local population and visitors.
- To stimulate the joint cross-border sustainable use and management of nature potentials in the Karavanke; thus reaching the goals of the The Alpine Agreement.
- To carry out at least five pilot actions for activation and preservation of natural potentials of the Karavanke.
- To improve the recognition of the Karavanke in the wider European framework.
